Challenge
We had the opportunity to experiment with unreleased Adobe Substance softwares in a workshop thanks to LeCycle. The goal was to implement AR into a field we had chosen. Models and renderings had to be done inside the Adobe Suite.
Solutions
We wanted to tackle on forensics as we identified opportunities to increase the quality of life during work bringing AR into their world. Resolving a case requires creativity and it shouldn't be slowed down by the tools.

I paired with Lucas Hippolyte.
We created a good synergy with each other allowing us to push further the expectations.
Each had his softwares of choice to be complementary with the other.
Our brief was to implement AR into a specific professional field, in our case forensics.
Our quick analysis highlighted numerous tools and encombrent manikins that could be replaced by AR to smoothen the workflow and reduce the overall number of items used.
Since the workshop was more oriented towards 3D and rendering we quickly decided on an aesthetic. We turned towards steampunk inspiration with a modern language to give it a more scientific look.
For the organization of the group I was tasked to 3D model in the VR version of Substance Modeler that wasn't released yet at the time and to which we were new.
For the rendering part I was charged of doing the texturing part in Substance Painter another software I was new to.
While I was texturing Lucas was charged of rendering all the visuals we needed in Substance Stager.
The reconstruction of the scene device are AR goggles allowing to display virtual manikins to reproduce the scene.
A device to control the manikin and analyse evidences on the field thanks to a portable lab attached on the top.
